A boundless world where everything is alive and can communicate with each other

When we stop to take a deep breath, the air feels different. Likewise, this work helps us take a fresh look at the colors around us that we take for granted. When the black of the night withdraws at sunrise, the colors of the world come back to life, born in sunlight—soft pink petals, fluttering yellow butterflies, gently waving green leaves and the bright sky seen through them, and fleecy clouds curling in the blue sky. Then, as gray clouds gather and swallow the sun, darkness permeates all these colors.

Pitter-patter. Sweet, warm raindrops fall on the yellow, blue, and red. As the roaring of the rain dies out, a rainbow rises in red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet. This book beautifully depicts colors changing with light and darkness through a typical day of weather, complete with sudden showers and a rainbow. In this imaginative tale, the child becomes the sun, the wind, and the rainbow.
